Office of Grants & Contracts

Grants & Contracts is dedicated to assisting faculty and staff with pre-award and some post-award activities for externally funded research, scholarship and student success programs. Our staff work closely with sponsoring agencies, Principal Investigators, and the University Corporation at Monterey Bay to provide professional and timely assistance and direction.

Grants & Contracts is also the administrative arm and operational support for the Committee for the Protection of Human Subjects (CPHS). The Provost has appointed the CPHS to ensure the protection of the rights of human subjects and serve as the university's Institutional Review Board (IRB) for purposes of local, state, and federal requirements.

Grants & Contracts staff also provide operational support for the Faculty Incentive Grants (FIG) and CSU Student Research Competition (SRC) awards.

26th Annual Student Research Competition -- Application Deadline: February 23, 2012

Selected students from the 23 campuses of the California State University system will present their research in 2012 at California State University, Long Beach.

Non-tenured Assistant Professors and Associate Professors are invited to apply for the Faculty Incentive Grants (FIG) funds - deadline Wednesday, 3/21/12, 5PM.
